Hey handsome,
You know how I said I'd save all the extra per diem I didn't spend on this business trip for our furniture fund? Actually, I was kidding.
You see, I wrote six thousand words yesterday. And when a girl writes 6,000 words of her novel before noon, what's she going to do the rest of the day?
That's right. Shop.
Today, I expect to be even more productive. And you know what that comes with being more productive? My credit card bill.
Don't you wish you read my blog? ;)
Love ya,
Guinevere

I can't actually post this in good conscious without saying that we have an equal, feminist household where MJ could care less about me going out shopping to entertain myself of an afternoon. I'm a smart chica who spends within reason, works hard for her money and can do what she likes with it once the bills are paid. But that's not funny, is it?
I do think he should read my blog, though. :p

Hahaha ... nice!
Congrats on 6000 words yesterday. That's great! I was happy I hit 2100 on Friday. (Clearly, I have not earned a shopping trip yet!)
Ha! That is funny! My husband doesn't read a word I write never mind my blog, so I get where you're coming from. 6,000 words! Wowee. Congrats!
Six thousand words in one day! Bravo!
And love the letter to your husband. :D
6,000 words...awesome! You and hub sound like a lovely couple.
What an accomplishment! You totally deserved that little spending spree. Congratulations!
Woohoo 6,000 words!
LOL!!!! How could your hubby not read your fab blog!!
Methinks he should make amends give you his credit card!
:-)
Take care

Go you! 6000 words is a mighty good thing. Congrats.
Wow, 6000 words! Good for you! After that, you definitely deserve to treat yourself.
Bahaha what a funny post! My husband read my blog at the beginning but since then hasn't even looked at it (at least I don't think!)
Congrats on 6K words! You were on a roll, of course you need to treat yourself to shopping afterwards!
THAT is fantastic! Love it. :)
Congrats on the 6K. You're a ROCKSTAR!
Thanks Jacki! 2100 words is nothing to sneeze at... that's a good chunk of writing. :)
Aubrie, my husband is the same way... he pretty much only reads third person fantasy novels in the first place, which makes me crazy, so he doesn't really read my stuff.
Thanks Shelley! I'm not thrilled to be away from home for a whole month, but it should be great for the novel!
Thanks, Kittie! :)
Aw, thanks E. Elle! I just can't reward myself like that too often, or if I ever do manage to sell my novel, I'll already have spent the advance. lol.
Alexandra, I just have to say I love that avatar of you - the pic with the kitten is too cute!
Old Kitty, I agree! My birthday's coming up, too... lol.
Thanks, Piedmont! :)
Neurotic, that's exactly how I thought about it too!
Thanks Jen! What is it (most) men have against blogging, anyway? MJ will read Reddit, which has lots of random personal posts on it, but not blogs. It's so strange to me.
Aw, thanks Annisa, that's sweet of you to say! by the way, I love love love your name. So unusual and accessible at the same time.
congrats to you, girl! that's awesome!
My husband didn't read my blog until I bookmarked it on his computer. now he can quite easily.
Congrats on the word count and the hubby. :) Mine would never read my blog. But your entry was a scream. :)
