2010 Debut Writer's Challenge

Reading is an important part of writing -- we can't write well in a vacuum. I enjoy writing YA, amongst many, many other categories, but I don't always read enough YA. I have pretty limited free time and tend to choose a lot of non-fiction when I can read. But, I know I need to make this a (very fun) priority. So I'm joining the 2010 Debut Authors Challenge, for which the goal is to read a set number of YA and middle-grade books by the debuting authors of 2010.  I'm certainly eager to support debut authors, the ranks of which I hope to join sooner rather than later!

You can read more about the 2010 Debut Author's Challenge here. It's hosted by the lovely Kristi over at The Story Siren.

My goal is to read at least 12 YA or MG books over the course of 2010 from debuting authors.
There are so many books that look irresistible, but here are what I've read so far:

These two books are reviewed here.

I've also read:
Some Girls AreScones and SensibilityAll Unquiet ThingsMagic Under GlassThe EverafterThe Body Finder
My favorite so far is All Unquiet Things, but I am loving reading these debut novels!
